Middle Pennsylvania District minister Randall Yoder to retire.

Randall Yoder, district minister for Middle Pennsylvania, has announced his retirement effective Dec. 31.

In almost 20 years as district minister, Yoder has helped strengthen the district's ministry and place in the denomination, and helped develop sensitivity to congregations as the reason for being for the district. He also helped develop the district office into a "state of the art" resource and ministry center for Middle Pennsylvania.

Yoder previously served as pastor of three Church of the Brethren congregations in Indiana--Clear Creek, Roann, and Kokomo. He is a graduate of Manchester College and Bethany Theological Seminary.

In his retirement, Yoder is interested in serving as a trainer and coach for congregational revitalization and redevelopment, and plans to spend more time with his family and with his congregation, Stone Church of the Brethren in Huntingdon, Pa.
